Chinatown Kiosk

NEW YORK, NEW YORK

Working as a team with the Shelter Express Group, TTD created the design of the information kiosk for New York City’s Chinatown, which has now become a community landmark. The kiosk was built as part of the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation’s revitalization efforts for Lower Manhattan after 9/11. The red box-like kiosk structure includes a roof that has pagoda-shaped lines of red neon and a gold dragon cut out of metal that spans to each end. A large scale map of the area helps tourists and visitors with restaurant, shopping and cultural information.
