ARLINGTON, VA
Working with the architect, James Ingo Freed, of Pei Cobb Freed, TTD designed the signage and inscription program for the US Air Force Memorial, part of Arlington National Cemetery. Dedicated in the fall of 2006, this memorial with its eloquent salutations, ‘Missing Man’ formation tribute and three soaring stainless steel spires is a dramatic addition to the DC skyline, and a fitting tribute to our Air Force heroes.
